  This is really a good soup mix with lots of pasta, but I found that I like it better when mixed with a can of Italian seasoned (garlic, basil, oregano) diced tomatoes. I am absolutely hooked on these mixes.

  If you like a heavy tomato taste, you’ll like this minestrone. It has a strong flavor, no fat, and average sodium for a packaged product (530 mg per serving). The directions call for adding water and tomato sauce. Next time I’ll add the optional beef and more vegetables.
